LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The victim of Sunday's fatal accident on the Gene Snyder Freeway was identified Monday.
The coroner tells WHAS11 Dustin Cooper, 21, was killed when the Chevy Cavalier he was driving got trapped under a semi truck and became engulfed in flames at the Bardstown Road exit.
That accident happened around 9:30 Sunday night.
The driver of the semi and the passenger in the Chevy were not injured, but the passenger in the Chevy was arrested after leaving the scene of that accident. Police said he had a warrant for his arrest.
Police on the scene said alcohol may have been a factor in the accident, but autopsy results are not complete.
