LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Vatican is clarifying the Pope's controversial comments about condoms. The Vatican says he by no means suggested their use could be justified as a means of avoiding pregnancy.
The Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith issued a statement Tuesday saying that the Pope's comments were misunderstood in a book length interview released last month.
