(WHAS11) – A University of Louisville football recruit has pleaded no contest to charges of lewd and lascivious behavior involving a 14-year-old girl in Florida.

A judge has accepted the plea of 17-year-old Sharieff Rhaheed Muhammad.

Muhammad was placed on probation and ordered to complete 50 hours of community service.

Police say Muhammad and the girl, who is related to him, had sex and the girl became pregnant.

She had an abortion last November and a DNA test confirmed Muhammad as the father.

The girl says he didn’t force himself on her but that he began touching her when she was 11-years-old and he was 14.

Muhammad must also pay $840 in medical expenses to the girl.
