LEXINGTON, Ky. (WHAS11) – The University of Kentucky Athletic Department has announced the extension of their rivalry with North Carolina.
Both schools have agreed to a two-year series beginning next year in Chapel Hill.
The renewal of the series was expected because both programs agreed not to play this season to flip the years each school hosts the game.
Kentucky coach John Calipari said he wanted to balance the Cats’ home and road schedules.
