LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Two women were taken to the hospital after their vehicles collided at the intersection of 30th and Chestnut in Louisville’s West End.
Louisville Metro Police say a Chevy Aveo hit the Chevy Suburban sending the vehicle into a building Saturday afternoon.
Police say 9 children and a driver were in the Suburban while one person was in the Aveo. Both drivers complained of head and chest pain and none of the children were hurt.
Police say the drive of the Suburban was cited because four of the children in the car were not properly restrained.
No one was in the hit building at the time of the accident. Both adults were transported to University Hospital.
