LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police are continuing their search for two men who are wanted for stealing an estimated $50,000 worth of Smartphones and tablets from an AT&T store on Shelbyville Road last Sunday.
The store’s general manager took WHAS11 inside revealing more about how the thieves got in and got away with the merchandise.
“Very quickly after they came through the door, they looked up and began to see where our alarm panel was,” Steve Minor said.
Minor said the men pulled the wires and disengaged the alarm and then went after the inventory.
They came in once, couldn’t get their bags full enough and came back again about an hour later,” Minor said.
Minor said the phones have a serial number and have been reported stolen to AT&T, so they will not be able to be used on their network.
He’s offering a $500 reward to anyone who can lead to an arrest in this case.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at their anonymous tip line, 574-LMPD.
Surveillance cameras were able to catch video of the two suspects.
