SONORA, Ky.—Two people are injured after a van struck the back of a horsedrawn buggy in the 6000 block of Ky. 84 in Sonora.

Kentucky State Police say Mose Yoder, 51, and Emma Yoder, 50, both of Sonora, were in a buggy heading eastbound on Ky. 84 when Lisa Marie Johnson, 42 of Bonnieville, Ky., attempted to pass the buggy.

Police said the van struck the rear of the buggy causing significant damage and rendering the buggy inoperable.

Both victims were transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.
