LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A tuition increase is on the way at the University of Louisville but they aren't saying by how much.
President James Ramsey said it’s because of budget cuts in Frankfort. He said they've been cut 15 times in 15 years.
“At some point, we've got to address the reality that education is an investment. It's not a consumption good, it's an investment good. And we're not investing in education in Kentucky,” Ramsey said.
Doctor Ramsey will attend a budget meeting on Thursday, April 17.
