LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP and WHAS11) -- Kentuckiana woke up to more snow Tuesday, prompting schools across the area to delay start times and even some to close for the day.

The forecast called for up to 3 inches in other parts of eastern Kentucky, while central and northern Kentucky had light snow.

Some school districts, including Jefferson County Public Schools, closed Tuesday due to deteriorating road conditions.

Temperatures were expected to be in the 30s across the state with lows Tuesday night dropping into the mid- to upper teens.
