Truck hits viaduct, loses wood near Old Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Emergency crews were called to a scene where a tractor trailer has struck the bottom of a viaduct near Old Louisville.
MetroSafe says that the truck, that was carrying a load of wood, hit the bottom of the viaduct on Hill Street between 7th and 12th Streets.
This happened around 12:30 Monday afternoon.
We are told the roof of the truck was too tall and the viaduct sheered the roof off, causing the truck to spill the wood it was carrying.
There are no reports of any injuries at this time and it's not known if the viaduct was damaged.
