The Storm Prediction Center has placed all of our area under a Slight Risk of severe storms, with a Moderate Risk over western Kentucky and southwestern Indiana. It is fairly rare to see a Moderate Risk area that close in January.

The next map shows the areas with the highest tornado threat, which is just to our southwest. We do have a small chance of a weak, spin-up tornado.

The damaging wind threat extends over a greater area. All of our area has a chance of damaging winds in excess of 60-70 mph.
