Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear and Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer helped honor Bulleit Bourbon icon Tom Bulleit, who has been named the newest Hometown Hero.
Hometown Hero is the series of murals that honor current or former Louisville residents who have been recognized for excellence in their fields.
Bulleit's mural is on South Third Street between Market and Main Streets, next to the Actor's Theater parking garage. His mural is the 18th that has been put up in the last 12 years.
Other honorees include Muhammad Ali, Diane Sawyer, Colonel Sanders and Patrick Hughes.
