(WHAS11) -- If you have always wished you could sail on the Titanic, you may get your chance. An Australian billionaire is building a replica of the original luxurious ocean liner.
The Titanic II will follow the same path as its namesake from Southampton, England to New York City. It will also have the same interior and cabin layout as the original and passengers will wear costumes from that era.
Some people have reportedly offered to pay up to one million dollars per cabin. Titanic II is expected to set sail in 2016.
More than 1500 people died after the Titanic hit an iceberg in 1912.
