LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Many were in the dark last night during the US World cup match against Portugal.
It was all due to a problem with Time Warner Cable pulling in the picture from ESPN.
Time Warner Cable customers could only see a black, blank screen, but they did have audio.
It caught so much attention that at one point, "time warner" and #timewarnersucks were trending in Louisville.
Soccer fans unleashed their frustration on Twitter.
Fourth Street Live! employees had to change over to Univision, like many other customers.
A spokesperson for Time Warner told the C-J the problem was caused by a "satellite receiver disruption" and later said "the issue has been resolved and we apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused."
