LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Teachers plan to flood the JCPS School Board Meeting on Monday night to rally for larger raises.

By law, teachers get a one-percent pay raise, but they claim it's not enough to keep up with the rising cost of living.

Teachers also claim Superintendent Dr. Donna Hargens refuses to negotiate on the topic.

The rally is expected to begin at 7 p.m. at the Vanhoose Education Center on Newburg Road.
