Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Nathaniel Bristol is behind bars, accused of armed robbery at several Subway stores and a Smoothie King across Kentuckiana. Police caught Bristol after he allegedly ran a stop sign in Jeffersonville, on November 29.
Police said he sped off and eventually got out of his car. A K9 found him curled up in the fetal position in someone’s yard.
“As the officers looked at his car, they discovered a toboggan with fake dreadlocks on it and the officers recognized that as being used in a robbery of a Subway here in Jeffersonville,” Chief Deputy Prosecutor Jeremy Mull said.
Police also said they found a fake, self adhesive mustache and beard, along with a face mask and eye patch. Bristol’s victims identified him as wearing those items during the crimes.
Bristol will appear in court on Friday morning.
Prosecutors are expected to ask the judge for a high bond.
