Louisville, Ky. (WHAS) – Louisville Metro Police arrested a man Sunday evening.
Officers stopped Desmond Williams at Armory and West Chestnut Street after they say Williams threw a bag of marijuana out of the car.
Officers had been watching the car Williams got into at the parking garage at 5th and Muhammad Ali hoping to catch up with a suspect who’s wanted on multiple warrants.
But Williams was caught instead.
He’s charged with possession of marijuana and tampering with evidence.
