(WHAS11) -- All the hot weather we have seen this year could put a damper on your Christmas.
The heat and a lack of rain, is affecting Christmas tree harvests.
Farmers say mostly newly-planted crops are impacted, which normally take seven to 10 years to mature.
Farmers say they will have to make up the losses by doubling up orders for next spring, but if another drought hits, the prices will go up.
