MUNFORDVILLE, Ky -- Felony charges have been filed against a Hart County High School student accused of bringing a gun to school.
A school official tells WHAS11 that an unloaded gun was found in an 18-year-old student's locker after an anonymous tip was received. Police were called and they found the gun.
The gun was not loaded, there was no ammunition found on school grounds and no threats were made, according to the school official, who added that no students were ever in danger.
The unnamed student is facing felony charges and has been suspended from school.
