INDIANAPOLIS (WHAS11) – The company who owned the stage involved in the deadly 2011 collapse at the Indiana State Fair has agreed to pay a $50,000 fine for safety violations.

The company also agreed to prepare a safety plan for future stage projects and provide additional training for employees.

7 people were killed when high winds toppled a stage which fell on fans injuring more than 40 others.
