LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Officials with Kenton County Schools have postponed a football scrimmage due to “purge” violence threats.

The match with St. Xavier High School was due to take place Friday evening but has since been moved to Saturday at Simon Kenton High School in Independence, Kentucky at 11:30 a.m.

Police in Louisville have been on high alert since a movie poster resembling the Hollywood film “The Purge” has surfaced on social media.
