LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- For the first time we are hearing from a special prosecutor looking into the criminal allegations in Clark County’s Drug Court program.

Madison, Ind. may be 40 miles away from the Clark County Courthouse but this is where big decisions are being made.

“We are reviewing the report. We are talking to a prosecutor in another jurisdiction on jurisdictional issues,” Chad Lewis, Jefferson County Prosecutor, said.

Jefferson County, Ind. prosecutor Chad Lewis who is in Madison is the special prosecutor. He will decide whether or not to bring charges against former Clark County Drug Court Director Susan Knoebel and Drug Court Bailiff Jeremy Snelling.

He says he is in talks with Scott County officials because some of the alleged offenses happened there.

Lewis hopes to have a decision within a week.
