PINEVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- A substitute teacher in southern Kentucky is jailed after accusations that he sent obscene photos to a student.
Bell County Sheriff Bruce Bennett told WYMT-TV (http://bit.ly/11TZ8zI) that 25-year-old Adam Scott Hunter of Clear Creek is charged with use of a minor in a sex performance and distribution of obscene matter to minors. Bennett said the images Hunter sent to a 14-year-old girl were "very disturbing."
Bennett said his office was notified on Wednesday about the pictures by officials at Page School in Pineville, where Hunter was a substitute teacher.
Bell County Superintendent Yvonne Gilliam declined to comment due to the ongoing investigation, but said Hunter is no longer a substitute.
Hunter declined a request for comment.
