Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Crews have put out a residential fire in south Louisville that killed one.

An elderly woman is the sole victim of a fire that started in her bedroom. The flames stayed contained to her bedroom, and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

Neighbors said the woman was as kind as they come and affectionately referred to her as "Granny Love".

No other units were damaged and no other people were hurt.
