SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. -- A new outlet mall is scheduled to open by August 2014 in Simpsonville, providing dozens of new stores and thousand of new jobs.
Groundbreaking took place for the first major outlet center in Kentucky.
It will create a business boom in our area along with tax dollars.
Construction workers unearthed a huge plot of land. By next Summer it will become The Outlet Shoppes At Louisville. Cutting prices and your drive time.
"It will be a lot closer for a lot of us who choose not to go to Louisville or outlet malls in Indiana," said Simpsonville resident, Barbara Hockenbury.
But don't let the name fool you, it's located right off the Simpsonville exit with brand name stores and mega-savings.

Plus Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Chicos, Gap and many more stores.
The 374,000 square foot outlet center is 75% leased.
