LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)—The Shively man who was charged in the death of a toddler has been indicted by a Grand Jury.
LaJuan Hayes was indicted on Wednesday by a Grand Jury on charges of murder, in the case of 2-year-old Alonzo Thomas Junior.
Hayes was babysitting for his girlfriend while she was at work when the child was found unresponsive inside the apartment.
He later died at the hospital.
Hayes pleaded not guilty to murder and had his bond set at $1 million.
