COVINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Two women have filed a federal lawsuit alleging a hostile work environment at the Kenton County Clerk's office.

The Kentucky Enquirer reported Tuesday that the suit accuses former chief deputy Danny Miles of sexually harassment and alleges County Clerk Rodney Eldridge permitted Miles' conduct.

Nichole Johnson of Latonia and Bridget Feinauer of Fort Henry also filed complaints with the Kentucky Human Rights Commission and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission office.

Miles resigned from the job in March and couldn't be reached by the newspaper for comment. A message left at the county attorney's office was not returned.
