Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11)- Sentencing is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday for a Hardin County man accused of killing his parents.
Erik Buggeland accepted a deal to plead guilty but mentally ill last month.
Prosecutors say the diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic used a dumbbell to kill his parents in their Elizabethtown home in September of last year.
Buggleand is facing life in prison with the option of parole after 20 years.
