FLOYD COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) -- The family of Stephanie Kirk said if you look at William Clyde Gibson, you will see evil.
The sentencing phase of Gibson's latest trial came to a close on Thursday.
The family of the victim at the center of the sentencing had to sit in court and listen to horrific testimony about what happened to their loved one.
Floyd County Prosecutor Keith Henderson said confessed serial killer William Clyde Gibson is the worse the community has ever seen.
Prosecutors and Gibson's attorney argued before a judge for the last time in the case where prosecutors are seeking another death penalty for the man they say has shown no remorse for three gruesome murders in Southern Indiana.
Gibson killed family friend Christine Whitis and Karen Hodella.
He has already been sentenced to death for one murder and 65 years for the other.
The judge will decide the sentence in the murder of Stephanie Kirk in the coming days.
Gibson didn't speak at Thursday's sentencing, but the family of Stephanie Kirk said there was nothing he could say that would make them feel better.
