Lockdown lifted at Seneca High School following bomb report

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Seneca High School was placed on lockdown Thursday afternoon following reports that a student had brought a bomb to school.

A JCPS official says a student told authorities that another student had a bomb with him.  Police and school officials searched the student and found nothing, they said.  A bomb squad searched the scene and also found nothing.

The lockdown was lifted shortly before 2:30 Thursday afternoon.
