MEMPHIS, Ind. (WHAS11) -- A West Clark Community Schools bus was involved in an accident Tuesday morning near the Interstate 65 interchange in Memphis.

Officials said bus #402 loaded with 35 was traveling along Bluelick Road around 7:30 a.m. when it was rear-ended by a car near the truck stop.

Clark County Sheriff's spokesperson Chuck Adams said the woman driving the car was tending to an infant and when she looked up the bus was stopped in front of her.

Ten students were transported to Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville and Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville. West Clark officials said none of the children were seriously injured, most received minor scrapes and bruises.

The driver of the car was not seriously injured.
