Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - The Jefferson County School Board will vote on the next steps to take with the struggling Myers Middle School at a meeting on May 12.

The board will vote on whether or not to repurpose the shcool building that sits in Hikes Point of Klondike Lane.

Myers has been a low-performing school for the past few years and the district is considering using that building for something else and relocating the students.

The Courier-Journal reported that the students already enrolled at the school would move to Waggner High School and be taught in a seperate area. Incoming students would be reassigned to other schools.
