RUSSELL COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Russell County deputy sheriff is facing charges after state police say they found several neutralized meth labs at his home.
26-year-old Nick Bertram is facing numerous charges including official misconduct, tampering with evidence, burglary, and drug possession.
Bertram was arrested when officers were called to a welding shop for a burglary.
Evidence that belonged to the Russell County Sherriff’s Department was found when state troopers responded to a burglary.
Police uncovered several hazardous waste overpacks, which are meth labs that have been neutralized by law enforcement.
