LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Republicans across the country are trying to make good on their promise to increase diversity.
In an effort to secure minority votes, Kentucky’s GOP is opening a first ever headquarters in West Louisville.
Since West Louisville has not voted Republican in decades, Senator Rand Paul was part of the move to put what’s being called an “engagement office” at the Trinity Life Center on Hale Avenue.
Outreach to minorities is vital to Senator Paul’s potential 2016 run.
Paul believes this office is vital in making minority engagement the focus of the local, state and national GOP.
