LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A water main break at the intersection of Chamberlain Lane and Westport Road on Thursday evening will have lasting effects, officials said, as repairing the damage may take a while.
The break caused a hole to open in the roadway. Water poured out and caused minor flooding. The main has since been repaired, but the damage left to the street will be a slow process to fix completely.
In the meantime, Ford employees and others who frequent the road are being asked to use LaGrange Road instead.
