(WHAS11) -- You could be getting a check in the mail from Reebok.
The shoemaker is accused of false advertising in regard to its Easy-Tone and Run-Tone shoe lines.
Reebok's ads claimed the sneakers helped tone legs and other muscles.
The company paid $25 million in fines because of those claims.
Starting Wednesday, the Federal Trade Commission is sending checks to about 315,000 customers.
Reebok is not the only shoemaker to be fined for claims like this.
Sketchers paid $40 million in fines for the ads for its Shape-Up shoes.
