Rapper files suit against KSP for excessive force

(WHAS11)—Former Nappy Roots member R. Prophet has filed a lawsuit against the Kentucky State Police for excessive force.

Prophet, whose real name is Kenneth Anthony, was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over in April, 2013 in Hardin County.

He was tased 15 times in a span of more than three hours, he says.  Police charged him with resisting arrest.

He had several injuries from that night and he said his nose was broken as well.

The lawsuit Prophet filed named four KSP Troopers.
