LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- An investigation into a Purdue University fraternity unveils a number of hazing and theft incidents, and the university is now cutting ties with the fraternity. Purdue officials say Phi Kappa Theta broke alcohol and hazing rules while already on probation. Officials say 28 pledges were asked to duct tape 40-ounce bottles of alcohol to their hands for a drinking game.
The fraternity's national organization has filed an appeal to block the expulsion.
