Public meeting scheduled for Jeffersonville canal plans

People living in Jeffersonville will get a chance to see the final draft of the proposed downtown canal Monday.
The 40 foot wide, 4 foot deep canal is intended to help storm water drainage.
The city's presentation will explain how the canal will be built and how it will help decrease sewer overflows.
The public meeting will be at 6:00 p.m. at the Ken Ellis Center, that's on Pennsylvania Avenue.
