Public gets chance to speak out against coal ash landfill

LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) - An electrified crowd spoke out at a public meeting on Tuesday night demanding that Louisville Gas and Electric scrap plans to build a second coal ash landfill at the power plant on Cane Run Road in southwest Jefferson County.

WHAS11’s Adrianna Hopkins was at the meeting with more on the crowd’s concerns.
