LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Prosecutors won’t seek the death penalty in the case of a man charged with killing a Sullivan University.

Gregory O’Bryan is charged with killing 18-year-old Andrew Compton back in 2010. Compton’s body has never been recovered.

O’Bryan has admitted Compton died while they were together but says it was accidental.

The trial is set to begin in July.
