LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Prosecutors will not seek the death penalty against a Bullitt County man accused of sexually abusing and murdering his niece.

Stanley Dishon was back in a court room Thursday after he was indicted last year in the cold case murder of 17-year-old Jessica Dishon.

While serving time behind bars, Dishon alleged admitted to other inmates that he killed Jessica.

Dishon is also accused of sexually abusing six other victims and was recently indicted on sexual abuse charges stemming from those cases.
