LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)—Prosecutors are confirming that even more evidence was withheld from defense lawyers in a local high profile murder case.

They said that a letter was not handed over to the defense in the Lloyd Hammond case. He is accused of setting up the murder of Troya Sheckles in broad daylight at Shelby Park in Louisville.

It was recently discovered that several other documents were “mistakenly” not handed into evidence for Hammond’s lawyers.

He is set to go on trial in connection with the murder of Sheckles, his first trial ended in a hung jury.
