LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Lexington police say they plan to monitor the site where two teens were shot on New Year's Eve in an effort to prevent further violence at the spot.
Police Lt. Chris Young told the Lexington Herald-Leader (http://bit.ly/VtwApX) officers who normally patrol the area around the Village Drive shopping center would monitor the site more vigilantly. He said police wanted to stop any potential violence that could result due to the shooting.
Young said a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old were shot during a dispute that happened at a party.
Lt. David Biroschik said both teens were treated at the University of Kentucky hospital and were expected to recover.
No arrests have been made.
