Police: Woman arrested on drug charges after incident at nail salon

Amy Leffler has been charged with first degree, second degree and third degree possession of a controlled substance.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Police arrested a Louisville woman on drug charges after an incident at a Louisville nail salon.

According to a police report, officers were called to a nail salon on 7th street. The manager told officers Amy Leffler, 19, was upset she had to wait for service.

The report says Leffler began to yell and curse at the employees and broke advertisement cases that were posted on shelves.

Leffler ran through the back door of the business, according to the report. When officers told Leffler to stop, she ran into traffic. When the officers caught Leffler they asked her if she had anything on her that she shouldn't have.

According to the report, Leffler said she had pills. Leffler told police she had a round green pill that was Oxycodone, two valium and a half pill of Hydrocodone in a gold container in her purse.

Leffler has been charged with first degree, second degree and third degree possession of a controlled substance.
