LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Louisville Metro Police have made an arrest in the city's first homicide of 2014.
According to a police report, 19-year-old Justen Tandy and another suspect conspired to rob the victim, 34-year-old Brian Przybylek, at the Guardian Court Apartment complex of Preston Highway.
Police said a struggle ensued during the robbery and the victim was shot once, resulting in his death.
Tandy, who lives in the same apartment complex, was arrested and is charged with murder, robbery and tampering with physical evidence.
Police have not released the name of the second suspect.
Przyblek was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:04 p.m. on Jan. 6. and his cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest.
