(WHAS11) - The search is on for an Indiana man accused of beating his roommate with a hammer.
Sellersburg police are looking for 40-year-old Kevin Watts.
Thursday night, officers found 56-year-old Mearl Turner with injuries to his head and hands.
He told police that Watts attacked him when he refused to give him money.
Watts is believed to be in the Louisville area.
Police say he drove off in Turner's car; a 1991 blue Honda Accord LX with Indiana plate l-l 5102.
