NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WHAS11) – A house fire earlier this month on Ealy Street in New Albany left three children dead and was believed to be an accident.
Fire officials initially said the flames were ignited by an object too close to a space heater, but now sources tell WHAS11 that police have at least one suspect who they believe is connected to the fire.
The specifics have only been shared with family members of the children who died. Police, Fire officials and the county prosecutor have called a news conference for Tuesday at 2 p.m. where they are expected to release more details on the findings of their investigation.
