NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WHAS11) -- A man accused of beating up a 92-year-old man during a home invasion is expected in a Floyd County court Friday afternoon.
The alleged incident happened Wednesday night at the victim's home outside Georgetown on State road 62.
William Vest was arrested Thursday night in connection with the crime.
The elderly man is still hospitalized. His condition is not known at this time, but we do know he has serious wounds.
Vest is facing a felony charge of burglary resulting in bodily injury. He is being held in the Floyd County Jail on a $200,000.
