LOUISVILLE, Ky -- A Louisville woman has been arrested after she allegedly abused a 1-year-old child at the pediatrician's office.
According to arrest documentation, an employee of the office witnessed Chelsie Immes pick up the child, throw him into a chair and drag him around the floor, which caused him to hit his head against a wooden bookshelf, police said.
Police noticed the boy had bruises and scratches on his forehead. Immes allegedly told the child "I hope you fall out of the chair and bust your head on the floor."
Police say Immes admitted to spanking the child with a belt after Child Protective Services employees found bruises on the child.
Immes is charged with Criminal Child Abuse.
